Planned

Research

Turn open questions into source-backed project evidence.

DenOps is planning a research workflow where questions, sources, findings, review, and decisions stay attached to the project that needs them.

Projects hold the question and the evidence

Keep research useful after the answer is written.

The intended workflow preserves why the research began, which sources informed it, what remains uncertain, and how the result supports the next project decision.

01

Frame the question

Define the decision, boundaries, timing, and evidence standard inside the project that owns the work.

02

Follow credible sources

Gather relevant public or customer-authorized material without treating unsupported assertions as evidence.

03

Separate findings from inference

Connect claims to their sources and label interpretation, uncertainty, conflicts, and open questions clearly.

04

Review the outcome

Keep the source trail and customer-safe result available for people to examine before acting on it.

Trail follows the evidence

A research specialist within the squad—not an oracle.

Trail is the squad’s research specialist, designed to investigate bounded questions and organize evidence for the wider team. Sage can use that evidence in planning, while the project preserves the question, context, and resulting decision.

AI-generated summaries can be incomplete or wrong. The planned experience keeps sources visible, distinguishes sourced findings from inference, and leaves consequential decisions with people.

Meet Trail →
Reviewable by design

Sources stay visible. Uncertainty stays honest.

These principles describe the research experience DenOps intends to build; they do not claim an autonomous research service is operating today.

01

Source-backed claims

Findings should retain customer-safe source references so people can inspect the basis for the result.

02

Clear uncertainty

Missing evidence, conflicting material, recency limits, and reasoned inference should be identified instead of hidden.

03

Bounded access

Research may use only public information or resources explicitly authorized for the project—never private systems by assumption.

04

Human judgment

Research informs a decision. It does not grant authority, approve sensitive work, or silently trigger an external action.

Planned

Research operations are planned, not available today.

The public application does not currently submit research work to private Core or claim live source collection, autonomous investigation, or verified findings. Those capabilities remain disabled unless a customer-safe gateway capability is accepted, implemented, and proven available.
